This Privacy Policy explains how MITSUKO ONO MARGOT KUBOTA (“we”, “us”) handles information in the app “Video Auto Blur” (“the App”).

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to Video Auto Blur.
Please refer to the separate privacy policies for other apps provided by us.

3. Information We Process

The App processes only the minimum information necessary to provide its features.

3.1 Device Permissions and On-Device Processing

  • Videos selected by the user from the Photos library
  • Face and person detection results on video frames (processed temporarily on device only)
  • Device model, OS version, language, and region (for stability and display optimization)

The App does not upload your videos to any server.

3.2 Advertising and Analytics

  • Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
  • Basic usage statistics such as crash reports and ad interaction data

4. How Information Is Collected

The App accesses information from your device only as needed to load and process your videos. Information you provide when contacting us (such as email address) is used only to respond to inquiries.

5. Purpose of Use

  • To detect people, faces, eyes, and mouth in videos and apply blur or pixelation
  • To display previews and export processed videos
  • To improve stability and quality of the App (such as crash analysis)
  • To respond to legal requirements and user inquiries

6. Face Data and Person Detection (Apple Vision Framework)

The App uses Apple’s Vision framework to detect people, faces, eyes, and mouth in video frames.

Information processed temporarily on device:

  • Positions of faces and people in video frames
  • Positions of facial features such as eyes and mouth

Information NOT collected or stored:

  • Face images
  • Face templates or biometric identifiers
  • Any data used for identifying a person

These detection results are used only to apply blur or pixelation. They are never used for identification, tracking, profiling, or advertising.

7. Storage, Sharing, and Retention

Face and person detection data exists only in device memory during video processing and is deleted immediately after each frame is processed or when the app closes.

No such data is uploaded, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties, including advertising SDKs.

8. Exported Videos and Screenshots

Videos and screenshots saved by the user contain only the blurred or pixelated visual output. They do not include any internal detection data. Files are stored only on the user’s device.

9. Third-Party SDKs

The App uses the following third-party SDKs for advertising and quality improvement. These SDKs do not receive any face or detection data.

  • Google AdMob (advertising, fraud prevention)

11. Data Disclosure

We do not share any personal data, videos, or detection data with third parties unless required by law.

12. Security

All processing is performed on the user’s device. No personal data is transmitted to external servers.

You can control Photos access from your device settings. If disabled, video processing features will not be available.

14. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as needed. Important changes will be announced in the app or on the website.
